1st Harvest Moon!!!

Before I go out for the night, I want to write about the beautiful harvest moon I saw tonight. It is a full moon and seeing it against the horizon, it is massive! It was reflecting red and orange, and it just shows that the farmers are starting harvest already! It’s a good time for rural Saskatchewan, with all of the moisture we had this year, this harvest should be phenomenal.

Saskatchewan is known for our prairie sunrises and sunsets and for our harvest moons. I never did appreciate it until I moved away. Now whenever I see one, it warms my heart, it’s like God is painting the horizon just for me. J
